Egypt In it's Prime.
Egypt, Particularly Ancient Egypt, is known for its division of time periods know as kingdoms or dynasties. During this time period, the Theban rulers began a coup in order to drive the Hykos Kings away from the Delta. Although started by the Theban rulers, this event was finished by Ahmose I who re-connected Egypt bringing in the New Kingdom. The New kingdom is known as the third great era of Egyptian Culture. (Roehrig, 2000). The New Kingdom was a time period between 1570-1070 BCE which spans across the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of Egypt. In its prime, Ancient Egypt stretched across Nubia to the Euphrates. The New kingdom was a time of prosperity and great wealth in Egypt. Architecture was built around Egypt in order to symbolize the great power and wealth of the New Kingdom Kings.
